MUSEO VIVENTE

 

The Presepe Vivente - Live Nativity Scene at Christmas and the Museo Vivente - Living Museum in summer, both of which re-evoke moments of daily life of the beginning of the twentieth century in the Erice area. The actors are real craftsmen, farmers, shepherds, women and children and sellers who repeat ancient gestures and make ancient trades now no longer existing come back to life. Inside the little village, workshops and domestic scenes are reproduced using original utensils and tools.
