CASA DEL FARMACISTA
The first non ephemeral work built by the architects from Rome Franco Purini and Laura Thermes in 1980, developed through clear elements, shows without hesitation a masterfully arranged architectural mechanism. With this building, the Roman studio moves away from its isolated theoretical undertaking and from the representation of architecture, giving substance to its interest in the grammatological dimension of architecture itself, which is at the basis of their designs. The house is made up of a main façade and a rear which enclose the central nucleus.
